My guest left early because she said her newborn was not handling the change well. Then she had a few complaints. To avoid a bad review I gave her a partial refund. How can i free up the days she's not staying or paid for?
just go on calender, right click the date in the box then a square will come up, press available then save x
That didn't work. Maybe I have to wait for her to accept the partial refund I sent her?
Has she cancelled?
No. She left halfway through her stay because her newborn was being difficult and she had a couple of complaints. I issued her a partial refund to avoid a bad review. We have perfect reviews up until now.
If she has not cancelled then the room is still booked and obviously the system does not allow you to double book.
Thank you.
I don't think you can do it yourself. This happened to me one time ...my guest had to leave a day early because something happened in his apartment. I called Airbnb and they freed up the time and I booked it immediately. 1-855-424-7262
Thank you!
Has the guest cancelled? Otherwise it will not show as free. Once guest cancels, the calendar will open up. If you cancel, it will become permanently blocked. You should not have refunded her until after the cancellation came through.
we all seem to be answering at the same time, apologies for doubling up on answers!
Lesson learned! Hopefully there won't be a next time 🙂
