Hello all,
I am in need of some advice/tips.
I opened the door to a guest, who was 2 hrs late for check in, and when he appeared at the door he had the driest, scaliest, flaky skin with bright red patches all over.
Being polite and courteous as always, i enquired what his condition was while i took him on the tour of the flat. He says it's just dry skin. And that he didn't have any meds for it.
A few days into his 10 day stay, I notice that the red patches have spread even more and he is now ithcing like mad. So i told him to visit the pharmacy next door, i took him there and imagine my horror when we r told that it's fungal and can be contagious!!!
I am not mean enough to kick him out and get airbnb to get him new accomodation on the basis of the skin condition, but i am really concerned that if i dont, i'm putting myself and my future guests at risk too.
I have purchased anti-bacterial laundry detergent and other cleaning products.
How would have other hosts dealt with that?
Or maybe i am just being overly paranoid?!
