Has system changed for setting a three night stay over weekend?

Hi Experiened hosts - Just wondered if the system changed recently?  Last year I set a min 3 night stay on a Friday and also for 3 nights on a  Saturday and for over a year now this seemed to work.  All my Friday and Saturdays were booked with three night stays.  I got three night stays for anything that booked to include a Friday, and the the same for Saturday ( I.e. some of these arrived Wednesday and checked out Saturdays - some arrived Thursday and checked out Sunday, some arrived Friday and checked out on a Monday, some arrived Saturday and checked out on Tuesday (but all were for 3 nights) .    However, I just got a two night stay for arrival on a Thursday.  Do I now have to set Thursday to a min of 3 night stays?  I phoned air bnb support and they said YES.  Surely, it cannot be the case that  I have just been lucky for over a year in getting three night stays that fall over the weekend?    Just wondered if anyone can help - as I do not want to set Thursday to min 3 nights as I am happy to take bookings for a Wednesday and Thursday ( 2 nights stays).  Many Thanks Lyn

Were you usung the old "weekend" feature where you could set the minimum nights' stay for a period that included a Friday or a Saturday? That's now gone.

If you had set the minimum per day of the week as described below then I don't know why it seemed to work for you recently. Perhaps it was just luck or maybe there was a grace period during which it worked like the old "weekend" feature.

In the "Trip length" section under "Availability" you can now customise the minimum nights' stay per day of the week but it applies to the checkin day. So if you set  a 3 night minimum for Friday it applies only to checkins on a Friday. Someone checking in on a Thursday or a Saturday would not have to stay 3 nights.
