Having problems changing a reservation

I have a guest who wants to stay extra days.  I've gone in to the reservation and clicked the Change reservation button, entered the new departure date and submitted the request.  But my guest has not gotten any request from Airbnb concerning this.  If I try and change the reservation again it says that a change is already pending and I have to wait for my guest to approve or disapprove but on their Airbnb screens there is nothing regarding this pending change, no request and no messages from me.  What can I do?

 

I finally found the airbnb number and am on hold with an expected wait time of 15 minutes!  Pretty disappointing service.  I should say I have been pleased with Airbnb so far but I wish it was easier to get help in cases like this.

Welcome to the Community Center. Great multitasking yesterday! hehe - the volume of people calling the Support Team is often quite high, but I do believe it varies depending on what time you call. I hope it wasn't too long. This aside, did you managed to get this sorted?

No, it hasn't been fixed yet.  When the Airbnb rep looks into my guests account they can see the request in her inbox but when she looks at her inbox in her Airbnb iPad app or using Safari on her iPad she does not see the request.  Seems to be somekind of technological glitch.  I'm disappointed that it seems so difficult to get help from Airbnb.
