1. The parameters I checked for IB requesting Government ID were switched off (not by me), check in case it is a site wide glitch.
I was receiving requests from guests with no verification whatsoever. I found out when I called support and CS told me it was switched off!

"You’re seeing this because we sometimes require hosts to accept a reservation request even when they have Instant Book turned on. You’re most likely to see this when you haven’t updated your calendar in a while or you’ve recently canceled a reservation."
I have canceled no one recently and my calendar is up to date. Customer support then told me I had 6 declines in a row, not true, I rarely decline, and if I do, only when guests have chidren and pets and more people than I can take. I have 94% accepted reservations.
