Airbnb actually includes both liability and property insurance: the liability protection is called "host protection" and property is "host guarantee". There are plenty of stories on here and other forums about the claims process with host guarantee. Do your own research, but I don't rely on either and have both my own property insurance and liability umbrella.

If you rent an entire space you may have more options through traditional insurers. CBIZ and Prosper are both popular STR insurers. My regular homeowners' insurance through State Farm had an add-on endorsement for short term rentals which hardly raised my rates (<$300 increase), but does require I live in the home (I'm an in-home host)
I have heard of other hosts whose regular HO insurance dropped them when they said they were doing STR, so you may broach it more as "we're thinking about doing this" rather than "we've done this".
