no, don't cancel from your side!! It would damage your host profile: you can explain that to your guest, and airbn will anyhow always asks you to be kind with thier client, so youcan set it later on, without damages for you!
Absolutely not.....they must cancel. They should have travel insurance for this eventuality. If you cancel you will get a financial penalty, your calendar will be blocked, you will be denied Superhost Status for a year, etc..
You can still offer a full refund, regardless of your policy. I have done this from time to time, but it can only be done after the guest has cancelled. Then you click ''full refund'' and the problem is sorted.
Absolutley do not cancel on behalf of a guest. If it's the guest's health reasons then they need to cancel. As mentioned you can offer a full refund after the guest cancels. But they are the ones that need to so they should be the one to hit that button!
