Hi i have not been hosting for long but do have superhost status. I mention that because i just got a request from someone i dont know asking me to host a 3 bed condo for them......asking to greet guests give them keys and strip beds and remake them(?). I woyld have thought that would be cleaners job.
I am wondering what is the normal rate to host for someone? Is it a percentage of their income from condo.?
Any advuce would be wonderful.
Thanks!
Hello @Christine
It means you will act as a co-host for somebody.

thanks i realise what it means was just asking for advice re what it should involve and what normal payment.
It can involve whatever you and the host agree it involves, and pay whatever you and the host agree. A property management service charges 25-35%. My co-host handles all local guest support and gets 100% of cleaning fees plus 30% of rent-- this includes maintaining two hot tubs. She hires people to clean. You should have liability insurance and a contract/agreement outside of airbnb.
Lisa this is invaluable!! Thanks for taking the time to share this sooo helpful!
