How do I get my listing to show up when I'm close to a tourist town but not in it

I am brand new to AirBnB. My listing is less than a half hour from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, Maine, both highly sought in tourist season (June - October). Is there any way to get my listing to show up when someone searches on either of those? Many people might not realize that they can get a perfectly beautiful place like mine for less money and still be close to their desired destination. Most just wouldn't know to search on the name of my town, which is very small and just off of Mount Desert Island where the park is located.

I noticed just one listing in my town DOES show up if I go in and search. Maybe because it's just a bit closer in? Would be grateful for any tips and tricks.

I wouldn't worry about it @Barbara1498. People will find you. I get bookings for the coast all summer and I'm 1.5 hours away. Your 'new' status will help bump you up in search results after that just keep on making small adjustments to your listing and calendar so the system knows that you are active. Once you start getting good reviews that will help too. I think that many people search using the map and not everyone wants to be right in Bar Harbor. Sometimes there is nothing left!

Don't be afraid to raise your price. Right now 5 people can stay at your place for $155 per person for the entire week! It will likely cost them more per week to live at home.
