How do I grow thick skin?

Anyone has a cream for that? Another four star and I am infuriated! She left a glowing review and all fives in categories. In private feedback she told me 1. She could not figure out how to lock the door so every time they left house was unsecured. There is a button with a picture of a lock on the pad. I showed it to her at check in. We talked during her stay, she never mentioned it. 2. When she first arrived, she put so much in the fridge it took a while for it to cool down. It is a domestic refrigerator, not a magic ice box. I know some people are just never happy and some just think four stars is very good. I know I am lucky she did not write anything bad. But this review thing should not be so stressful. I was looking at hotels in Kansas city, MO the other day and their highest rated is Intercontinental at 4.2 stars.

I cannot agree with you more. I gradually change from upset to disappointed, to ignore after I receive a low star rating which I don’t deserve.

I include a one paragraph summation of Airbnb's review system in a one page 'cheat sheet' of the most important house rules and house use instructions that I lay on top of my House Manual (I do the cheat sheet because I have learned guests do not read much of anything, including my House Rules as listed on Airbnb, even though they supposedly 'agree' to them). I do not tell the guest what rating they should give me. I simply explain that anything below five stars can cause a Super Host to lose their good standing on Airbnb.

Most all of my guests have thanked me for pointing this out. Many guests expressed surprise and wondered why Airbnb would lead them to believe that a 4 star review is 'good'. 

I wonder the same thing.
