How do hosts in Canada receive payment aside from Paypal?

I can't seem to set up a bank transfer or a wire transfer to recive payment into my Canadian account.  My payment is set in US$ and I would prefer to keep the US$ into my US$ account at my Canadian bank.  I have inquired with Airbnb and a community member got back to me saying my only options are to receive payment via Paypal or Western Union.  I know I can use Paypal but the exchange rate it gives is horrible.  Anyways, I would like the option of keeping my payment in US$ if possible.
