For family reaasons we had to stop hosting in Sept, 2016. I thought I communicated this to airbnb. I also blocked off all availability dates as far into the future as I could. Then, in approx Jan. 2017 I got a couple inquiries and had to tell the people we were not renting unti further notice. Then I got a warning from airbnb that we were not living up to the host stndards. I assume it was because I did not respond to the 2 inquiries we recdeived in a tmely nanner. However, I cannot communicate directly with airbnb to tell them I did not responsd in timely manner becaue I wasn't expecting any reservation requests from gueats. I plan to resume hosting in the future but I don't want this acidental tardiness in communicatin to blemish the excellent hosting record we had when we were renting. Can anyone convey this to Airbnb?
