ID Verification

I have been trying to get Airbnb to simplify the process for a guest to add an internationally recognised government  ID document to their profile, when they have already had their ID verified by some other means e.g. Personal info / Sesame credit (!?) / Zhima credit (!?).

If anyone else is frustrated by this please write to Airbnb https://www.airbnb.com/help/feedback. Maybe if they get lots of requests they will actually do something about it.

Hi @Anna33 . I am a bit confused by your post. Are you saying that personal info should be sufficient verification for a government id? How do you suggest that uploading a government ID should be simplified? This is one of my few requirements for booking, so I am very intrigued that you think this requirement is an impediment.

I require all guests to have a government ID documnent verification and want it to be easier for them to ADD one to their profile.
