My house is listed as $135 per day with a monthly discount that brings down the daily rate to $108 per day. I recently had a guest book for 32 days. The next day she wanted to change the reservation extending it to a total of 122 days (approximately 4 months). When the reservation was changed Airbnb dropped my daily rate to $101. I didn't authorize the change in the daily rate. The guest said the monthly rate increased on her end. In a nutshell I am getting less and it appears Airbnb is getting more. I have called customer service and talked to three different people. I have two questions. Has anyone here experienced a similar situation. What is the percentage of the service fee charged to the Airbnb guest? My guest is beyond frusturated with the customer service.
I remember from previous situation the breakdown for the long term stay prices (the installments) has an error in it: the amount of nights counted. Probably when you count the total days "by hand", it will still show $108,- a night.
