Instant Booking Issue

So, for the second time around with instant booking, we have a guest coming in the same day a guest is leaving, even though we have specified a 2-night space buffer in between guests.  The first time this happened, we quit instant booking. We thought we'd give it another try, but, the same thing is happening.  This overlap gives us 3 hours to get the house ready for the next guest.  If we had nothing else to do in our lives, this wouldn't be a problem, but we both work and need to have more time to clean up before the next guest arrives.  

 

The biggest issue here is that we have our reservations set up with 2 days between bookings, but AirBnB is not recognizing it.  We're turning off instant booking, again, until this gets resolved.

@Bonnie49 Not sure what’s going on. We have 1 day set between reservations and have never had an issue.

Furthermore, if your settings aren’t working correctly and therefore it isn’t a beneficial reservation then call CS & get it cancelled. “Nothing Has to be” all these things are fixable. Ask for help

Honestly, this doesn't really sound like an Instant Booking issue.

Yes, you shouldn't be getting these requests, but it is possible the system would allow them even if Instant Booking were off. It is just that you act as a manual backstop when it happens with Instant Booking off.

Maybe you should have AirBnB look into why the system isn't respecting your 2-night buffer between guests. Get that fixed first.

(And if you keep insisting it is an Instant Booking issue, the support people might be looking at the wrong thing.)

I have instant booking with a day off befor the next guest cheack in for cleaning it does help and it works sorry to hear you haveing problem just reset it or call Airbnb don't give up things happen
