Insurance source for hosts

Below is the company who initially insured my property.  My agent for my main homeowners found it for me and charged $270 a year.  This gave me the additional million dolars in liability coverage that the state requires here.  I am now insured under Farm Bureau for less.  There is a Farm Bureau in every state, so just put your states’ name infront of farm bureau to search.

@Amy38 thank you for the information!

So this company's coverage helps with AirBnB-type stays?

Or is it just for other things?

(I do not know insurance very well...)

@Matthew285  It is essentially a policy to cover liability issues with your rental activity over and beyond your homeowners coverage or whatever you already have for fire and theft.

@Matthew285 This is what I have to meet state requirements for obtaining a STRP (abnb or other) permit.
