Invisible listing

Hi,

I am having issues with my listing position on airbnb. I used to be on the first or second page of relevant searches, now my property is on the eigth or ninth page - even searches for my actual building and my actual street. Properties that are further away, more expensive etc take priority over mine on airbnb. I am getting increasingly frustrated with airbnb as they are doing absolutely nothing constructive. I have been on the site for a number of years, my property is the only one in my direct area that has no booking because of this.

Has anyone had this problem, is there a way around it?

Thanks

Nina

@Nina247 ,

There are a lot of properties in a big city like London. If you want to find some answers about the way Airbnb is handling search results, please read this: https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Hosting/Your-top-questions-about-Airbnb-Search/m-p/509644#M12037...

But you can also promote the listing yourself, via social media or relevant websites, etc. by using the direct link to your listing or homepage (maybe change ".com" by ".co.uk" ?)

Also i suggest to upload a nice coverphoto to your homepage.

Best regards, Emiel

Thank you Emiel, I think my frustration is that my listing has dropped from high visibility to virtually zero visibility. Again thank you for your comments , I will certainly try out your suggestions, maybe Airbnb is no longer suitable for individual hosts. Best wishes Nina
