Is it okay to accept payment for extra nights through Request Money

I don't show it but the pain in my ankles and knees is taking a lot out of me and I was too tired to do the alteration with other guests in order to accommodate a guest who is staying for extra nights in the original room so I did request money.  I hope this is "legal." I am just so tired and upset over non hosting problems that I am running on empty. 

I am also not able to do the alteration because it is two rooms - the first guest wants to stay later so I asked the guest who was arriving to go downstairs but that means the third guest which booked downstairs would have to go upstairs when he is checking in when the first guests are leaving from that same room - so I actually can't do the alteration without doing a switch multiple times to reflect reality.  Also, I think I have to offer the third guest a discount for moving upstairs.

 I think what you did is fine.  I am so sorry you are dealing with personal health issues that make it difficult to deal with all the hosting jobs.  Is it possible for you to bring on a co-host to help out for a while?

I do it all the time Jennifer; many times for an extra service. It works well.
