My guest just sent me an alteration request, which he suppose to check-in 16 hours later. He wants to change to a date mid October. My cancellation policy is strict with 48 hours grace period. Can he cancel and get full refund after I accept his request? If the alteration is considered as new booking, he will get a new 48 hours grace period for free cancellation?
@Monique241yes he will. It is often used trick to avoid cancelation fee. The best if you tell them to cancel and then to rebook if they want. You can offer to refund them for all days you will be able to rebook .
