Leaving the Premises

Hello Everyone, I'm new to Air bnb and I have a question that many of you may laugh at.

I shouldn't expect to stay here in my house while the guests are here, correct?  It's normal (and perhaps even understood) for the guests to occupy the premise without the owner staying there as well?

There's room for all types of hosting situations on Airbnb! You can list as an "entire home" if you intend to leave, a "private room" if guests will have a room with a door that's all their own but where you share some common spaces, and even "shared space" if you share a room or the guest stays in a common area (like a couch in a living room)

So long as your place is well-described so your guests know what to expect, set your place up in the way that best suits you.

Be sure to read the help articles on hosting standards and educate yourself on regulations that apply to your area before listing.  There are lots of help articles for new hosts on this forum, too.
