Wanted to share my experience. I had a guest break my lock after 3 years of with no problems. My handyman was able to identify the part in the handle mechanism that they had broken. I contacted lockstate and despite the fact that it was well out of warranty they are providing the part at no cost just asking me to cover shipping costs.
I am not an employee nor affiliated with lockstate. Just a happy customer. There are many threads about keyless entry systems and I have advocated for my resort lock programmatic keyless entry system. Here is just another reason!
