Hi.
My listing doesn't show when I search for it in "incognito mode".
I have of course googled and I followed this guide.
Click here to view listing. (Use incognito/private browsing so it doesn't cache)
Here's what I do:
Search for any dates (min 2 nights) in November.
Zoomed in to narrow the search down to 30 apartments.
I unblocked the calendar 2 hours ago.
Any ideas?
@Patrik14 I found your listing on the first page of the search with Instant Book active, narrowed rates and zoom to include about 300 listings. When you first list, Air BNB will bump your listing up to the top. Later you will not have this opportunity. It is best to get activity as soon as possible. You have October blocked. If you could open up the calendar, you will probably get bookings and you need activity quickly. Keep your rate lower than average to start. Good luck in your new business.
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, it shows up now for me as well. Probably just took some time.
Another thing though.. I added my listing about 2 months ago, just after I signed the promissary agreement with the seller. ( I was quite eager to start renting out 😛 ) But the mortgage process is soooo slooow in Portugal, so I have had the calendar blocked for the past two months. As I understand I have probably lost the "new listing visibility" perk? Would you recommend me to remove and re-add the listing for better visibility?
Thanks
Patrik
@Patrik14 I don't have experience with the plan you propose to get the "new host" push. Perhaps an alternative is to keep your rate as low as possible. Once you gather positive reviews, you can increase the rate.
