New to hosting

I would like to become a host, but I am a full time away from home mother of 2 young girls.

My schedule begins with leaving the house by 630am for school drop off and daycare drop off then myself off to work at the office and I don't get home by about 6pm in the evening.

Some nights I have my boyfriend stay with me - it is these nights I will be open to airbnb hosting.

My issue is leaving the guest alone in my house whilst I am at work - unless there is another option?

@Linette8 If you're not willing to leave your guests alone in your home, it's likely not going to work. I know that some hosts do ask that guests don't stay in the house throughout the day, but from 6 am to 6 pm is a pretty big ask.  You could try it, but I think you're going to have issues.

Are you able to seperate the space you're going to list, so that guests can't access the main part of your home? Or could you get a co-host to be on site when you're not there? Could you work fom home?

no work from home

there is no separating the entrance. There is only 2 entrances - main door and through the garage.
