No payment on File for Guest

Hi All,

I am a new host and I am a little confused. Today is the second time I have been allowed to accept a reservation without the guest having a payment on file. How do I avoid this in the future? Or is this something that airbnb allows? 

I do not want my information and address revealed to someone who is just address shopping and because of the city I am in, I beleive this is the case.

There is an option in section "location" which is called:

"Visibility for booked guests"

When this box is ticked, guest can not see your private information before the free cancellation period (48 hours) has ended. In such case "address shopping" is not possible.
