Not getting paid.

Do you guys know what the next step is when you don't get your payout. I've messaged support several times and called multiple times with the same rehearsed response "we're forwarding this to a specialist who will contact you in 24 hrs." This has been going on for 10 days now. Is there another way to contact an actual person that knows what's going on? Or do you guys suggest I contact a lawyer at this point?

Wow...some hosts are getting paid 3x for the same booking and you’re not even getting paid once.  So sorry you’re dealing with this, but it seems to be another “glitch” (or hack).  I’d check my settings to be sure everything’s as you left it.  Hackers have hijacked/stolen payouts in the past.  It usually hits the news 3-7 days later.

I’m told Twitter works.

If it were me, I’d pause my listing till it’s straightened out.  No more booking fees is the best understood message to management I know of.

Yeah, still waiting for a payout 17 days later, and another one due today. Currently about $2K out of pocket! No response from "support", just the "specialist will contact you in 24 hours". Your comment about hackers doesn't fill me with confidence.

Same thing happened to me!

Until I checked the payout method and noticed someone hacked into Airbnb and changed the payout method to a PayPal account (not my normal bank account). So without notifying hosts, Airbnb released the payment to the hackers PayPal account. This is why you haven't gotten the money, it has been paid to the hacker's account.

Please check your payout details, take screenshot of the fraudulent payout details, and contact Airbnb. I'm not the only one whose Airbnb account has been hacked. If you search around, quite a few host had their account hacked and payout details changed. I'm attaching screenshots as proof. I have also contacted police to let them know of the fraud.

We need to let Airbnb know this is a widespread problem, not an individual computer that got hacked, and the site is not secure.

Ps. The hacker stole nearly $10,000 from me.

Yep, this just happened to me. Luckily I saw the emails that airbnb sent to ask if it was me making the change and I was able to catch it. I can imagine if those automated emails ended up in spam or "promotions" or some other inbox then you would have no idea this had happened. It's also a widespread use of breached data. If you re-use passwords, and the pw you use on your Airbnb account got breached elsewhere, then the hackers can just waltz right in. If @Airbnb would implement 2-Factor Authentication this would no longer be a problem.
