Notifications on multiple mobile devices

I use more than one device to manage my properties, and my girlfriend helps by having the Airbnb app on her iphone, eg if I'm driving she can respond using her phone.

 

When she upgraded to iphone 6 the Airbnb app continued to work fine for her, but I no longer get realtime alerts on my devices, nor do I get sms messages. Sometimes alerts come a day or so late on my Android phone which of course is useless.

 

I notice that the alert settings seem to be account specific (not device specific), as any changes on these do sync across devices.

 

Has anyone else had such issues or have any tips for working with multiple mobile devices? I may have to do some tests eg remove all the apps and re-install testing one device at a time.
