Notifications when they book another place

Hey there guys!, so on my last booking inquiry, i recieved an Airbnb email, saying that "Beatriz will no longer need your place, because they booked another" or kinda sorta msg haha, does anyone had it before?

Is this like a new update i am not aware of?, and ill be having this for every single future inquires?, 

If yes, then it means its awesome! because we no longer will have to wait to see if they book or not!!!

@Alexandra224  I have received the same message and agree it is very helpful but haven't received it often.  I am not sure what triggers the message unless it happens when the traveler books another Air BNB listing.

I've received one of those a few times. It seems to happen if I pre-approve a guest but they don't book.

The pre-approval then expires and I get got that email when they booked somewhere else for the same dates.

Have you noticed if only happens random?, or it has been for every inquiry that does not follow up with a reservation?, still wonder if its a random msg or this is how it will be now and future! , cheers

It's not random, it's for pre-approved inquiries where the host doesn't follow up with you but  books another place for the same dates.

The email says that they booked another place. So if they don't book another place you won't get that email.

Some hosts make an inquiry but end up not booking any place. So in that case you won't get the email.
