If you do, can anyone recommend another site on which to advertise, basically along similar  lines  as Airbnb, because most of our bookings are made over wee- ends. Thanks in advance.

Hello @John-And-Sally0 airbnb is unique, there is no other existing similar service to my knowledge. 

To fill up your week days, try offering something different, with a lower price and shorter min stay duration - that normally does the trick
