To all our Airbnb Hosts that joined us in Perth for a meetup on 16 July, hello again.
I hope you enjoyed the meet up, it was an outstanding success. The room was packed out with more people than we expected, it just goes to show that our Hosts really enjoy meetups and learning from each other. Kudos to you.
Some of the hosts found the tips on how to talk with councils about your intentions to use your property for Airbnb particular useful as you had been trying to figure this out. This meet up was all to do with improving your listing so you can get more and better enquiries/bookings:
- Learning how to improve your listing and what to write is always a hot topic.
- The simple changes you can make to your listing such as: title, summary, description and photo's.
- How to attract better quality guests and why your listing is the most important tool you have.
- Understanding how Airbnb places your listing within the overall search results and what you can do to help yourself.
- Why it's important for Hosts to respond quickly to guests.
- The right questions to ask during your initial communication so you (a) understand your guests needs and (b) provide the best possible experience for everyone involved.
- Changes to the website and creating a listing (it's become a lot more user friendly)
- How to access the free photography option on your listing.
- We covered the three key areas every Host should consider when listing and why it's critical to get it right so your property doesn't get overlooked.
