Pre approval

Usually when I pre approve a reservation it blocks the reservation on my calendar for 24 hours. Now, it is not blocking the dates. Twice I have pre approved and had someone immediatley come in and take the reservation. How do I fix this?

If you pre-approved an inquiry, the dates will not be blocked until that person actually books. Maybe that's what happened?

If it's an actual booking request, you are prompted to Approve or Decline, not Pre-approve.

But @Sarah977 and @Gina178, isn't there still a choice to pre-approve with blocking the dates or not? Has anything changed in the settings?

If/when Pre-Approve someone interested, best to physically block the dates for say 24 hours is so interested in that particular possible guest, otherwise it all becomes a mad scramble for who could click fastest.
