Professional Photographer

Hi everyone,

We are trying to schedule a photographer through AirBNB but it's stating there's not one available in our area. We've had their professional photographers come to our previous locations that we've hosted in Atlanta, all very close to where we are currently located. Is there a way to be placed on a waitlist so that we're notified when a photographer becomes available in our area?

@Anna82 I don't know of a way to be put on a wait list.  My advice is just to keep checking until a photographer becomes available.

I have the same problem, I would like a professional photographer but there are none in my area. Can I pay for professional services through Airbnb, I would be wrong to do this?

@Ceri1 Probably would not be able to get reimbursed from Airbnb, but, depending on the tax code in the UK, you might be abe to deduct the expense as a business deduction on your income taxes. 

I know in the US it would be a deductible expense.

Hi @Ceri1 - just book a local photographer who specialises in interiors . The advantage is you can asked for shared copyright and use the photos as you wish to promote your listings for example through your social media.

And yes if you are declaring your income through BNB as a business then the expense will be tax deductable.

@Helen3 @Ceri1 @Clare0 Now I saw on another post yesterday that Airbnb are no longer providing or arranging professional photographers. I do not know if this true or not.....but it seem rational! As Airbnb's profits grow their service to customers diminishes!
