Property searches

How come when I search for a property in a specific town most of the properties that come up are in towns more than 40 minutes away from my selected search area and many of the properties available in the town are not listed at all? I understand that airbnb want to give as broad a selection as possible but when you are wanting a place in a beachside surf town you are not interested in a place in a city 40 minutes away especially when you know there are plenty of places available in the town you are searching. However there doesn't seem to be any way of refining the search apart from entering the name of the town.

Consider searcing by the map. 

Enter the name of the town, click into the map function on the right, and start moving around the map, zooming it directly into the are you are interested in. Works like a charm!
