Push or pull?

After a guest has completed payment for a reservation, does Airbnb "push" the content of the host's  "Location" section (conact phone number, address, and so on) or does the guest need to go to the Airbnb website and "pull" down that information?

If the latter, my suggestion to Airbnb would be that they automatically push the information to the guest as part of the confirmation process. I have guests who ask for this information after completing their reservation because they don't know how to get the contact information otherwise.

Thanks!!

It is a bit more complicated.  The guest gets a confirmation email which includes the key facts (dates, price, number of guests and so on), the phone number, address and map and picture of the listing and a link to the house manual (clickable).  So the guest has enough in their hand to find their way there (and particularly to read from their phone) and the means to find out the rest.

I help out by sending a more detailed email to my future guests asking for their phone numbers, real email address, arrival times and so on.  Most of them ignore it though!

My view is that Airbnb has it about right.  Most guests want enough but not too much.
