So frustrating - I've spent over 5 days trying to issue a refund, I issued it from my end - had to upload a bank statement etc to prove identity. That didn't go through for some reason - got no message on my Airbnb messages about this so I didn't even know. My guest requested the refund multiple times, I got a message about a billing account and then a message that the server was down. This has been going on for so long it's embarrassing.
@Liz259 Hi, if you've issued a refund from your own bank account (not through Airbnb) Airbnb cannot help you.
For future refunds I advise you to go into Airbnb Resolution Centre to offer refunds to guests. They will process directly to the guest and will deduct the amount from your future bookings.
Check your future transactions if you are sure you processed the refund through Airbnb.

Hello no you don't understand, I am talking about the resolution centre. It isn't working and is still sending me the same message. I do wish I could get some help from AirBNB how do I do this?
