I strongly believe that Airbnb has the platform and the ability that when you list your home whether it's two rooms/apartmet or the whole house .....that they should be able to tap into each/your city's rules regulations and taxes and share the information and guidelines to you..... after all you are dedicaing your home to Travellers who sign up through Airbnb, even though it is a source of income to you....and a way of making a living.Also their guidelines will be in conjunction with each clty. If you are home sharing your house rules are your rules. Please respond...any one !

@Barbara453  I don't necessarily agree.  Airbnb is simply a listing service that connects guests to hosts.  They handle the transaction and collect/distribute the money.  It is the host's responsibility to ensure they are operating their small business within their location's regulatory guidelines - just like any other small business owner.
