Removing cleaning fee improves your search ranking?

Hi,

I had a cleaning fee in my listing for years, one day I deleted the cleaning fee and to my suprise  I noticed by doing so it improved my listing in search results. Try it with your listing and share the  results.

If i remove it and increase the base price there is it worthy ?

But if i increase my base price when i remove the fee will not that harm the listing also by th algorithm ?

Or you remove your cleaning fee and dont increase price ?

But then also, the listing at the top of Melbourne's private rooms does charge a hefty cleaning fee?!

Might it just be that it temporarily bumps your listing as you've changed prices?! @Rubén16

Do AirBnb charge fees on cleaning fees or do they only charge on accomodation charges?
