Resolution Issue

We had guests leave the stove on, which burnt the stove covers and left marks on the stove. We are just starting out and really want to get some good reviews but feel this is an important issue to resolve. Any suggestions on moving forward and what to propose with these guests that did this?

That happened to us. We asked the guests to pay for the damages and they did. What is really scary is the house could have burned down.
