Self check in options

Self check in options

I just started hosting for Airbnb guests (have the second group this week). So far I was able to meet the guests at the house and give them the key, but I may not be available all the time. What are some tried and true good low cost options that you can recommend? Looking for something simple, straight forward and quick to implement.

Thanks!

@Vivian119: You can just get a lockbox. They have ones you can mount to a wall or hang from your door.

This looks great. Thanks!

I replaced my  lock with schlage key pad lock. It was $100 plus labor to install. While I will not call it low cost, it eliminated a potential guest forgetting to put the key back, losing the key or making a copy of it. I change the code after each guest (or at least try to) and my cleaning person has her own

@Inna22 I have the Schlage key pad also, but a different model I guess since mine was over $200, but it works great.

I love my keyless entry pad, makes guest check in and out easy AND I can go running without taking a key! Broke my heart when it stopped working last month, I bought a $120 or so option, lasted about 2 years, perhaps the spendier options would have more longevity.
