My apartment has 1 bed and 1 air mattress.
I have it listed for 4 people.
One guest complained that it is against the rules to have it that way.
Have had other guests sleep in the air mattress that didn't complain.
I can't find anything stating that.
Anyone with information can shed some knowledge?
@Antonio847 There is no rule against what you're offering. However, I would consider adding some text to your description stating that the second bed is an air mattress. I know you have it in the bed description, but it doesn't hurt to double up. Having a good picture of the air mattress also wouldn't hurt, if you don't have one already.
Alright, thanks I'll add the picture too.
@Antonio847 I don't think it is against the rules at all.
(It almost used to be a requirement.)
The name "Airbnb" came about because the very first listing was the founder's apartment with an airbed thrown on the floor. The initial expectation was that every host was using airbeds.
As to whether 2 people can fit on an airbed: I would say it depends on the size of the airbed and the size of the guests.
Just make it clear to the guest what they are getting.
Including a photo of the airbed sounds like an excellent idea.
