Special Offers

Hi,

I am new to hosting.  I have a guest who would like a discounted rate.  When I went to send a special offer, I noticed in the details area of the amounts, that Airbnb is charging two service fees...I copied and pasted here:

Subtotal
$
Enter a subtotal that includes any cleaning or extra guest fees. This won’t include service fees or applicable taxes.
$215 x 2 nights
$430
Service fee
$52
Your guest will pay
$482

$215 x 2 nights
$430
Service fee
-$13
You will earn
$417

Any idea why there is a service charge of $52.00 and $14.00?  My guest are reading that the daily rate is higher with the special offer than with the original offer.  I want to be able to give a discounted rate sometimes, but I don't want the guest to incur a second service fee.  Any insight is appreciated.

All you need to do is put in the £ figure for the total for your acommodation including cleaning fee, and any extra charges for additional guests, etc.

DO NOT include any service fees for AirBnB - this will be done automatically.

Your guest will not incur a second set of service charges.

Sorry, should also have said that the services charges are split into the Guest Service Charge (52) and the Host Service Charge (£14).
