Super host status for long-term hosts

I have been an Airbnb host for over six years.  I have 100% ratings on every Super Host metric except the 10 bookings per year requirement.  That is because I prefer and shaprly discount long-term, (one to three months) bookings.

Given my preference for long-term bookings, I can never achieve the 10 bookings per year requirement for Super Host status.

I believe that standard undermines (and even disincentivises) providing the excellent guest experience that I provide and Airbnb encourages.  I believe that this should change to properly reflect the actual guest experience.  Quality, not quantity!

@Tom615

I've posted about this subject months ago. I asked that ABB have different standards and ratings for those that do long-term hosting.

Yes!!! Thank you Tueykay for responding.  Even if they just used the 10 consecutive guests or expanded to a two year standard.  It seems a little self-serving for Airbnb to seek MORE BOOKINGS and not focus on long term guest experiences.  I'm considering listing with other services like Traveling Healthcare Rentals and or Furnished Finders.

Airbnb has heard from many, many hosts about this. Yet, they do nothing to remedy the situation. So, obviously, they do not see the value in hosts who offer guests a quality experience on a less frequent basis. These are the sorts of business decisions that cause me to scratch my head, as it reflects such poor judgment. Does anyone there at corporate have an actual business degree (versus design or engineering)?
