Super hosting

Super hosting

Since my guests come for one or two weeks I am much less likely to host 10 trips in one year than a host who specialises in guests coming for one or two days.

Yet this is the first criteria for becoming a super host. Not very fair.?

Hi @Rachel16

10 trips it’s one of the criteria’s…

Sounds unfair but it's not hard at all!

You are just missing 4 trips, if your guests stay for 1 or 2 weeks you should take you about 4 to 8 weeks to get you ready for the Super Host badge...

After that you just need to keep the 10 trips on the past year (52 weeks)

Hello @Rachel16,

Welcome to the Community Center. It is great to see @Luis-and-Tati0 has provided you with some advise with regards to Super host status, this is a widely discussed topic within the CC.

I hope you don't mind, but I have moved your thread to the 'General Hosting' board as it will make it easier for others to find.

I wish you luck with this and lots of happiness hosting. 🙂

I agree- we have a 10 day minimum at our apartment and lately, most of our guests have booked and stayed for a month.  Our apartment in the city is primarily for our own use when working, or visiting there, and is only available when we aren't using it.....so it seems unfair to me that there is a 10 hosting criterion for qualification as a Super Host- I feel Air B n B need to look at the fact that hosts circumstances are different from hotels or people running professional B and Bs.
