Superhost status - achieving but not recognised!

Hi all,

I am slightly confused and frustrated with Airbnb currently. I have been aiming to achieve the Superhost badge on the next assessment (1st April) and working very hard to do so. 

I am currently meeting all requirements having 23 completed trips, a 100% response and commitment rate and 5 star reviews 88% of the time. However, Airbnb is telling me I'm "not meeting the requirements of the Superhost status." (See below image)

How can this possibly be? Is there some unknown criteria I should be reaching?

Please could someone help me sort this out before the next assessment? I would really like the Superhost status to achieve a bit of extra credibility in the Airbnb community.

Well from the look of that screenshot you seem to be meeting all the requirements Zoe. You committment rate is 100%, your response rate is 100% .....88% of your reviewed trips have been 5 star and you have had more than 10 completed trips!

It seems to me you are meeting the required stats.....unless you have done something stupid like cancelled a guest reservation!

I have definitely never cancelled a reservation. The only thing I have done is denied reservation requests as the room/house has not been suitable for the guests... Is this something that might hold me back from getting the badge?

Where exactly do you think you are not meeting the requirements Zoe, As I said all those stats of your exceed the requirements!

Zoe, that superhost box on the right of the screen shot lists the 'requirements' for Superhost! Now look at your sats on the left....you are a superhost girl!

If you look to the right of the screenshot in the little box, you can see it says clearly "you're not meeting the requirements, but we hope you will soon!" 

This is what makes me think something is up! I clearly am meeting all the outlined criterea... it's just that Airbnb is telling me I haven't!

Some kind of glitch?

@Zoe31 Ah, that's because you don't have a past assessment. You have to understand this whole thing is computer generated and what that box is saying is, you, as of this moment have not been assessed as having the requirements for Superhost status, you are simply recognised as being an Airbnb host! It then goes on to say, 'next assessment 1st April'!

That is when those stats of yours will be assessed sometime early in April and trust me, those stats will get you the badge!

Yeah @Annette33 summed it up well, what you are seeing relates to the Jan 1 assessment. Here is my page and this is similar to what your screen will look like after the April 1 assessment......

Don't panic Zoe, only a few more days!! 

Don't let it go to your head, it's no big deal...it's your reviews that will sell you, just keep being that great host that you obviously are.

@Zoe31 , don't despair, their wording is confusing : when they say, "you don't meet the requirements", that only means you didn't meet them at the last assessment date (jan 1).  

the key word is assessment date, so it looks good for you for 4/1, the next assessment date.

from the superhost description: If you meet the program requirements on the assessment date, you'll qualify for Superhost status.

It must be some kind of glitch.

I am also about to became superhost, and when I access the stats page on a notebook (windows) or chromebook,  Airbnb tell's me the same! It started happening since about two days ago, when Airbnb put the old stats page on line again. 

When I check it at my smatphone it says I am about to become a superhost.

I think you should not worry.

@J-Renato0    José  it's not a glitch! What that line is saying you do not as of the January 1st assessment have the criteria for Superhost status. You may have achieved that criteria in this quarter that will be assessed on April 1st so, like Zoe, hang in there and see what happens in the next 10 days, hey! All the best.

At least in my account, the newest stat page is back.

It seems that everything has returned to normal.

@J-Renato0....Yep you are right, so has mine.......I wish they could fix up a few other problems as quick as they sorted that one out!

I think it must have been tied up somehow with the superhost assessment!
