Tea and coffee facilities

Tea and coffee facilities

Hi, this is a really simple question. I am a new host. I am offering a 'room only' type accommodation but also full use of all the (shared) kitchen facilities including complementary tea & coffee and basic foodstuffs. So the question is - should I also have a tea & coffee making facility within the room itself?

Hello @Annelie6, do you have ensuite bathroom(s) so people can get water to make coffee and tea? If not, I wouldn't worry about providing tea and coffee making facilities in the room. If so, it's not a bad idea if you have the budget for it. My sister does in her room only accomodations and people do use it and enjoy it.

Hi, no the bathroom is shared, so good point. I'm not sure if it would clutter the place up too much anyway. Thank you

I agree, and would keep the coffee and tea in the kitchen. Seems easier and will avoid issues for the future. Good luck @Annelie6

Hi

I offer the same - room only but use of the kitchen.

I freed up a shelve in the pantry, and I keep that shelve for guests.

I offer basics - Nescafe (normal and decaf), nespresso pods, tea (black , gree, red berries, pepermint, lemon and ginger), sugar, honey, peanut butter, swetener, cereal, olive oil, salt, peper, balsamic vinager, brioches. The guests can use anything that is in that shelve, and  have space to put their own stuff there if they prefer to buy something different.

Most of the suff last, so the investiment is really done once.
