Text messaging in Australia

Hi there

Over the last couple of months I have been querying my phone provider why I am been charged for all these international text messages to the USA.

After 4 months of these charges I have found out it is the cost of texting using AIR BNB in Australia

This seam crazy when the host is in Australia

This is not the case with UBER

Does an y one know how to fix this issue.

The telcos would be making an absolute fortune out of this where local text messages are typically free with plans

I use the app to send all messages to guests/hosts, I never reply to the texts themselves, always in app.

AirBnB then sends them a message as well as an email & text (if they've set those options up)
