We have been attempting to accept, decline or sending a special offer for a reservation requests and were unable to do so, aparently as many other Hosts have experienced lately; please do refer the many contibutions on this forum re "Unable to....."
We did receive a platform message confirming a Decline on our latest request and this morning the very same request status indicates Pre Approved and believe that due to all of the uncalled for changes made, the Platform has now been rendered completely disfunctional by the Administrators.
Sending a special offer no longer is automated and hosts must calculate and pray that the assumed total will include all if lucky enough to be able to issue such an offer (unlike us that was unable to do so).
We also have a long term guest with a fake profile photo which we request as per new platform content and received a Van Goch or simmilar painting instead.
Then the new norm is to view prior to booking and using the Review system to extort a refund.
With all of the above in mind we believe the old saying "Nothing succeed like success" to be more relevant than ever before. Please bring back the old Platform that was considered a 100% functional by all.
