When I click on accept / decline from an inquiry received via email, I am directed to my listing but there are no messages. Nothing in my inbox. So how can I respond to the guest, escpecially within the 24 hours? All I can do is hit reply on my email and correspond via email@example.com which is what I do. But airbnb are out of this loop of communication. It just goes via firstname.lastname@example.org. What is email@example.com anyway?
But worst of all is not being able to contact Airbnb directly. No customer service. No support. No backup. I do not expect a satisfactory answer to my query or problem.
I have wasted hours looking for answers.
why is the accept/decline on the email not linked to my account? Is it because I have both a hosting account and a traveller account? But I obviously click on the host tab and my listing appears but no message.
