I received an email from Airbnb that a "Maria" group ( and 1 guest) was to recieve a room in Glascow, Ireland. Maria and guest received a "Congratulations , you're booked" on my site. My name is Sheila, and that is what My site states. I don't even know Maria, or the hosts in Glascow! How did this happen? I informed the hosts of Glascow, and they didn't know how it happened either. They said that the request came to them like any other request. Somehow, they cancelled. I dont know if Glascow hosts, declined "Maria" group, or what? They (Maria group) booked for May 4-7 2018 for Glascow. How did they piggy-back on my site? We're they even official Airbnb guests? What would have happened if they did something illegal, or broke something, or whatever? Would I have been the first to blame, seeing that it was on my site? How can I prevent this from happening again.? Thank you. So glad they were later declined....Sheila
Hi. By "My site", I mean my personal Airbnb site.
@Sheila122 How bizarre as Glasgow isn’t even in Ireland.
Maybe flag Maria so it’s picked up by the Air staff.
Hi again,,Oops sorry, my bad,,Glascow, UK. It ws reservation [code hidden](actually states confirmation on cancellation on top of that code.) Yeah, I still have the email from it. States that I, Sheila booked on Wednesday, Oct 25, 2017, 3 nights in Glasgow, UK. May 4- May 7 2018. Also that I am bringing a guest. Did all that you stated to do, so I hope that it helps. Thank you, Sheila
