Unreliable Paypal !

Dear Airbnb hosts,

Could you please give me some advice ?

I chose Paypal payouts and now I have problems not being able to withdraw the money to my bank account.

Normally it takes from 2 days to a weeks to do that. This time it has been more than 2 weeks, and the withdrwal is still in pending status.

I have sent several emails to ask them about the reasons. They replied, but instead of helping me "change" the status from Pending to Completed, they "offered" to help me Cancel the withdrawal ! It seems I won't be able to get my Airbnb payouts. Has any of you had the same problem ? What should I do to get back my money ? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

@Thuy0 Sounds like you need to talk to Paypal about this. Possibly a good idea to change your payout account.

@Clare0Thank you for your tips. I did talk to them and what they told me to do was to continue to wait , but they were not sure for how long . They said there was a probem with the system. But what surprised me was they have problems only with the withdrawing requests,eg, they have no problems with getting money into their system ! In fact, I changed the payout account, hoping everything would be OK. Do you think I could ask AIRBNB to get back the money for me ? Thuy Ha

@Thuy0 Well, you could certainly ask for Airbnb's help, but I suspect that once the payout has been sent it is out of Airbnb's control. Changing your payout account is a good idea. What a mess! Keep after Paypal until you get your money!
