Virginia Beach Home Sharing Club's first meet-up is set!

We'll be gathering at Croc's on 19th Street at the Oceanfront for the first Virginia Beach Home Sharing Club gathering on Monday August 14th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

This will be a social event to make initial contact for hosts, sharing ideas and getting a handle on the regulatory situation in the City of Virginia Beach.

We had a great turnout for the first Home Sharing Club of Hampton Roads social gathering last night at Croc's at the Oceanfront in Virginia Beach!  We had hosts from Virginia Beach, Hampton, and Norfolk sharing insights into local regulations, home sharing best practices, and laying the foundation for a greater voice in local decision making and media coverage highlighting the benefits to our local economies that home sharing produces.

Now if we can just get AirBnB to accept our application to set up a Club site in the Community...

In the meantime, we're continuing on and will have our second gathering in September hosted at the home of one of our Virginia Beach hosts.  Message me @Kip0 to join in our Club!

Hey Hampton Roads/Tidewater folks, we're having a Meet Up this Monday Oct 9th at 7pm at the Back Deck up on Shore Drive.  We have also set up a Meet Up group called Coastal VA Home Sharing Club.  We'll start having regular meet ups now and will be using that site to communicate. Thanks! Kip
